Harry Styles
Harry Edward Styles (born 1 February 1994) is a popular English musician and singer. His professional career began in 2010 as a solo contestant on the British music show The X Factor. Following his elimination the show, he was reintroduced for the boy-band One Direction. The boy group was one that was among the top performers of all time. But then the band went into hiatus for an indefinite period. Styles were the first to release their self-titled album through Columbia Records, in 2017. The album debuted at the top of the charts across the UK as well as the US, and the UK. It also was one of the top sellers of the year. "Sign of the Times," the lead single from the album, debuted at the top of in the UK Singles Chart. Styles' sophomore album, Fine Line (1999), was the top-selling album in America. This album had the largest first week total sales for an English male musician. In 2020, it was named the Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time. The album's fourth hit single, "Watermelon Sugar", made the top spot on the US Billboard Hot 100. Styles's third album Harry's House (2022), was a huge hit as well as winning the Grammy Award for Album of the Year 2023. According to Billboard, the album's number most-listened to track "As It was" has become the number one song listened to all over the world. Styles was awarded numerous awards, including six Brit Awards and three Grammy Awards. He also received the Ivor Novello Award as well as three American Music Awards. The films he has appeared in include Dunkirk (2017) The Dunkirk Movie, Don't Be Worried Darling and My Policeman (both 2022). Styles's flamboyant style is not solely a feature of his musical and acting. Styles is the only male to grace the Vogue front cover by itself.
