Sharon Yvonne Stone (born March 10 1959) was born in Meadville Pennsylvania to Dorothy Lawson an accountant and Joseph William Stone Jr., a tool and Die manufacturer who had previously been employed as a worker in a manufacturing company. Michael, Kelly, Patrick and Dorothy Lawson are her three siblings. Stone was in second grade when she was five years old. She was considered as being academically gifted. In 1975 Stone graduated from Saegertown high school in Saegertown (Pennsylvania). In 1975, the Miss Pennsylvania beauty competition saw Stone take home Miss Crawford County. Stone moved to New Jersey with her aunt in 1977, to explore a modeling career. She did so after signing at the Ford Modeling Agency within a month. While in Europe Stone was able to spend a whole year in Milano and Paris. Stone did, however, become frustrated with modeling and acting in Europe. She chose to pursue her career as an actress during the time she lived there. Woody Allen starred in "Stardust Memories", which was a mixed-review film in the age of 20.
