Country-pop and actor song writer Jana Kramer rose to fame in the world of television when she joined the crew on One Tree Hill as Alex for its final three seasons. The series featured her first albums as country music, propelling her 2012 debut album on the Billboard 200 to the Top 20. Thirty One, her follow-up album, released in 2015, climbed the Top Ten. The decade ended with her appearances on Dancing with the Stars, TV films and non-album singles. The self-doubting Voices was released in 2021. Growing up in Rochester Hills Michigan Jana Rae Kramer was raised on country music and would eventually make a record career, but she started her career as an actor who made her screen debut on the screen in the 2002 independent horror film Dead/Undead when she was still in her teen years. Gaston spots on shows such as All My Children and CSI: NY followed over the following years, until she landed the recurring part of Noelle Davenport on NBC's Friday Night Lights in the series' second season 2007-2008. Kramer played on 90210 between 2008 and 2009 as Portia as well as Brooke Manning before joining One Tree Hill on the CW in 2009. In 2009, she played Alex Dupre. She remained on the show until 2012 when the series was cancelled. Jana Kramer Kramer's run on One Tree Hill saw her signing a contract for a single with Elektra Records. I Got the Boy (a Top Five country single) and Steven Tyler's duet Aerosmith helped the album to be even more successful which saw it reach the top three place at the top of the Billboard 200. The album was released after a period of two months in 23rd Dancing with the Stars season, she finished fourth. Also, it was the year when she scored a contemporary-adult hit, with Feels like Christmas which featured Straight No Chaser.
